The video we want to produce is based on two girls and two boys both in different relationships however there will be some cheating going on which is the main focus of the music video as it matches the song.
For my music video, I would like to use all the different types of shots and angles which will make the music video stand out and look professional and effective rather than not using any shots. For example, close up shots to show the persons facial expressions and long shots to show the whole scene and where it is set. Also the 180 degree rule and the eye line shot which will help the audience see who is having a conversation with who and also their facial expressions and these are conventions. The song will match the storyline as it will help make more sense when the audience is watching the music video as we do not want to confuse anyone.
Dua Lipa is an english pop singer, her song ‘New Rules’ (which is our chosen song for our music video) is one of her new songs that has been released not too long ago which is an advantage for my group because everyone that watches it will enjoy it as it is a new song that the majority will like.
