Classwork // The codes and conventions

Camera shots:

There are close up shot scenes to show the characters facial expressions and their emotions. For example when Henry Madsen slipped and was trying to hold on, there was a close up shot of his face which helped us understand what he is feeling in that moment by looking at his facial expressions. There is also an eye line shot of the police officer (John Luther) and Henry looking at each other, this creates tension as it helps the audience know that something is going to happen.

Sound:

There is dramatic music when Henry and John are looking at each other, the music gets louder a few seconds before Henry trips and falls and after he falls which adds tension to the scene and gives the audience the idea that something is about to happen either to Henry or John in that moment.
