This video includes both a narrative and a story of different scenes that when put together creates a story and the scenes link to the lyrics of the song. Kendrick was introduced to the audience by being in an empty room, dressed like a pop with light shining only on him to make him be the main focus of the scene at the beginning go the music video. The genre of the song is Rap/hip-Hop, it is portrayed by the protagonist which is the artist him self that is found in different scenarios.
